What’s Tied Connection?
Tied Connections is a rope speed dating event.

Looking to dip your toes into shibari in a relaxed, no-pressure setting? Our Rope Speed Dating event is perfect for you—no prior rope experience necessary! Learn new inspiration ties, and enjoy the creative possibilities of rope while you’ll rotate through brief tying sessions, getting a chance to connect with several partners, exploring the basics of rope play in a welcoming, open-minded atmosphere.

What Can I Expect?

• Introduction & Warm-Up: We’ll start with a brief welcome and some ice breakers to help everyone feel at ease.

• Simple Inspiration Ties: Before each round, our instructors will demonstrate a minimalist tie—perfect for beginners who want a bit of guidance, and a good starting point for improvisation for more experienced practitioners.

• Rotating Tying Sessions: You’ll pair up with different partners throughout the evening, taking a few minutes to practice each inspiration tie, then switching so everyone gets a turn both tying and being tied - if you wish. This friendly setup makes it easy to meet new people, try fresh dynamics, and gain confidence with each rotation.

• Wrap-Up: As the event winds down, we’ll gather for a short closing circle to reflect on the experience. Feel free to exchange contact details, if you like, and celebrate the connections you’ve made.

What Should I Bring?

• Ropes & Safety Gear: If you own ropes and safety scissors, please bring them. If not, we have some available to borrow or purchase.

• Comfortable Clothing: Choose comfy, form-fitting clothes. Avoid jeans, belts, or underwired bras to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Cost

• General Admission: 15€ per person

• Reduced Rate: 10€ for students and those with low income
